[Pet of the Month] December – Gypsy

When we first received a Pet of the Month nomination Gypsy was only a puppy that Sandra had just brought from our store.
When it came to choosing a Pet of the Month we thought it would be great to catch up with Gypsy who had the cute little blue bow in her hair. The Shih-tzu x Poodle is a common cross breed in our store and one of our staff’s favorite breed.
Sandra brought little Gypsy to our shop on a very hot Sunday afternoon. It was great to see Gypsy again all grown up! She hadn’t had a hair cut yet and looked like a little black fluffy ball of hair.
Gypsy has turned out to be a very friendly dog and very obedient. As we were walking up to the park to have the interview Gypsy grew tired even though it was a 15 minute walk, but Gypsy was doing very well considering it was so hot. So Sandra picked up Gypsy off the ground and carried her the rest of the way.
Gypsy is about 6 month old and can sit, and can do many tricks As Sandra says in the interview, Gypsy was toilet trained with in a day or two after she got her. Sandra taught Gypsy to ring a bell hanging off the door when she she needed to go out side and come back in. We believe that is the true Poodle side of Gypsy shining through…

We would like to say thank you to Sandra for bringing in little Gypsy for a visit and we were happy to see her again. We hope to get more up dates in the coming years and wish the two the best of luck!

I had the pleasure of getting to know Gypsy for a few weeks. She was one of the most playful, affectionate and people-loving puppy dogs I’ve come across in a long time! She can’t get enough cuddles and adores her family. They obviously take great care of her. I’d recommend a Shi-poo (shitzu-poodle) to anyone.
