[Pet of the Month] June – Tim Tam

Tim Tam is our June Pet of the month for 2009. Trista, Tim Tams owner was excited about Tim Tam winning our Pet of the Month and sharing what it is like to have such a friendly and happy Chihuahua.

When the team and I were looking for a winner this month, almost every one pointed out Tim Tam. Tim Tam is a very well known customer at our store. She finds it easy to mingle her way in with the Upmarket Pets team and get cuddles from every one.

Trista says that Tim Tam is an exceptional Chihuahua who is friendly with people but not as much with other dogs. Chihuahua’s can be known to be yappy puppies, but Trista is of the opinion that if you start their training when they are young, Chihuahua’s have less of a tendency to continue unwanted behavior.

Trista also clothes Tim Tam, which makes her even more extra cute. She told us that besides browsing at our store for the latest fashion, she also goes to Singapore and buys teddy bear clothes for Tim Tam.

Tim Tam is actually quite small or her breed and was the smallest puppy of the litter. Her mother actually weighs 3kg which is a heavier weight for a Chihuahua.

Tim Tam also loves cat toys! You are able to see in the video Tim Tam playing with a ‘pull string mouse’. Usually at home Trista tells us that Tim Tam can pull the string her self and then throws it up in the air.

   Hi Stephanie,
   It is general knowledge that Chihuahua are know for being yappy.

   Your right not all Chihuahua are yappy dogs, and Tim Tam is good example.
